210. 2019 Bronzato, Rondinella, Corvinone, Corvina, Verona, Italien. Amarone is a red wine with a beautiful deep red color and a full-bodied, pleasant aftertaste of pepper, blackberries, leather, and cherries. Amarone pairs well with hearty dishes such as beef and rich stews.

During the drying process, the grapes lose 50% of their weight. This process increases the sugar concentration, as well as the development of aromatic and polyphenolic potential. After drying, the grapes are crushed and destemmed, then placed in stainless steel tanks for fermentation at a controlled temperature for 2-3 weeks. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 18 months before being bottled.
