Ripasso is a beautiful deep red wine, with flavor notes of pepper, cranberries, cherries, and plums, complementing dishes with pasta and game.
Full-bodied, juicy, and concentrated fruit flavor with silky smooth and well-integrated tannins. Notes of ripe blackberries and rosemary, along with a hint of oak and spices.
During the drying process, the grapes lose 50% of their weight. This process increases the sugar concentration, as well as the development of aromatic and polyphenolic potential. After drying, the grapes are crushed and destemmed, then placed in stainless steel tanks for fermentation at a controlled temperature for 2-3 weeks. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 18 months before being bottled.
An outstanding and elegant red wine with an intense and distinctive aroma, especially of plums, cherries, and morello cherries. The taste is incredibly full-bodied and intense with notes of red berries and vanilla, yet smooth and pleasant.
